Combining Professional Football with Education

MGH Educonsult is proud to be chosen as an official partner of Pro Player Pathways, the go to company that provides footballers, and coaches, with a pro club placement alongside a higher education pathway. Our core philosophy revolves around bringing theoretical knowledge to life through industry-specific practical learning. The ethos is to develop core academic skills for learners to engage in further and higher education programmes with a view to appropriate exit routes into positive career pathways.

Our students have been placed into pro clubs around the globe including in Spain, Gibraltar, Dubai, Bulgaria, the US and Cambodia. Our typical learners come from academies at pro and semi-pro clubs or private academies, who have been released or are looking for an exciting opportunity to further their career opportunities in a new and possibly challenging environment!

Students study for 3 years but can finish after each year taking a qualification at the end of each stage with the end of Year 3 being a BSc. It’s also possible to play in three different countries during that study period. Take Zac Tyson for example. Played at a pro club academy in England, was released and joined the Pro Player Pathways family and has played in Australia, Sweden and Poland, developing as a player, a student and a person as each year passes, even learning two new languages!
